How much will my work cost? · Virtual English Teacher is a bespoke proofreading service tailored to each student’s individual needs, and therefore the rate you pay will depend on how much work is required. Rates start from just £0.005 (half a pence) per word and in many cases this is what I actually charge students. Unlike many of my competitors, I do not charge a premium for working evenings and weekends! A price is always agreed prior to the work being carried out, and there will be no hidden surcharges at all. So many students use Full Proof (and come back for more!) because it is an affordable and professional service built on honesty and good communication. How much will my work cost?
· How long will it take to proofread my work? This depends on how long it is and how much work it requires. The following table shows a general estimate, when you send us your work we will agree a time that we will be able to return it by. less than 2,000 words - 1 to 2 working days If you need your work sooner than this, please still contact us and we will try to meet your requirements. · Who will proofread my work? We have a team of proofreaders, all with relevant qualifications and lots of experience. If we have a proofreader who specialises in your particular subject we will try and get that proofreader to read your work. Also, if you return to us (as most customers do) we will try and get the same proofreader to read your work each time - this will make your work consistent between submissions. If it is not possible to match you up in one of these ways then you will know that your work will still be edited to the highest possible standards. · I want my work proofread but it is not ready yet. Please let us know when you expect to send it and when you want it back, in this way we can ensure we have a proofreader available. · Do you work on evenings and weekends? We do work on evenings and weekends and will often be able to return your work to you before 9am on the day you require, however, we do not check the email as often or answer the telephone outside normal office hours (9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday) so if you expect you will be sending your work outside these times, please let us know in advance.
